Two Men Face Charges Regarding Heathrow Alleged Pepper Spray Assault

Two men have been charged in connection with a suitcase robbery where a believed to be irritant spray resulted in harm at the UK's busiest airport.

Tyrone Richards, 31, and Anton Clarke-Butcher, 24, are accused of two counts of robbery and charges for using a harmful chemical, according to official statements.

The charges follow an probe of an attack at the parking structure at Terminal 3 on Sunday. Earlier that day, two women were robbed of their suitcases stolen after getting out of a parking garage elevator, according to law enforcement.

A young child was among those injured during the incident. A total of five individuals required hospital care and were later discharged.

The incident – described by police as was isolated and deemed non-terroristic – resulted in disruptions to rail services and the temporary blocking of the main airport road tunnel and the Terminal 3 car park for a limited duration.
