Plane Carrying US Defense Secretary Forced to Land in UK Because of Crack in Cockpit Window

A jet carrying Pete Hegseth was compelled to make an unplanned landing in the UK on Wednesday due to a fissure was identified in the jet's front window, as stated by an official statement which verified that all passengers were secure.

"The plane landed following standard procedures and everyone onboard, including Defense Secretary Hegseth, is unharmed," a press officer said in a public statement.

The secretary was coming back from a short visit to the city of Brussels when the incident occurred.

This incident does not mark the first time that a US military aircraft ferrying a high-ranking official has encountered equipment failures.

Months ago, a American military jet ferrying the US Secretary of State to Munich was compelled to return to Washington after experiencing a mechanical problem.
